Visionary Pictures came up with two film concepts as progression for the development of our horror film. We then presented these two concepts in powerpoint format in class to our peers, after which we were given general feedback based on the two concepts. We held a vote with our target audience for our horror film, and our most appealing concept was chosen from this. Below is a slideshow of our two concepts we presented in lesson as well as the feedback.

FEEDBACK
The following images are the feedback sheets in which our peers completed when watching our presentation of the two concepts. The majority vote from these feedback sheets was how we decided to go with our final concept.
AND THE WINNER IS...
From going based on our feedback we have decided to go for the Concept Two: GHB. We believe this will appeal more to our target audience, especially young girls and has a more personal and relating storyline which is unique as a pose to the orphan storyline. We also later changed the title to Consealed as a pose to GHB as we believe is has a more darker mysterious meaning behind it, attracting our target audience more rather than a simplistic, short and punchy title.
TREATMENT
We were required to present our chosen concept on a piece of A1 paper. Visionary Pictures included all the relevant information which was presented in our film concept presentation and more. This includes a synopsis, subtext, inferred meaning, Burton's theory and Todorov's theory. Visionary Pictures worked on individual areas and then came together as a team to form this poster, providing input and relevant content in which we all equally agreed on.
Within this section of the treatment it concludes the synopsis and plot with visual elements of what we would like to feature within our trailer in terms of settings, background and decor.
This section contains our character profiles, making clear which is the antagonist, the protagonist, and the stock characters. We also included images to give a visual image of what we envisage our characters to look like.

This section of our treatments poster contains our equilibrium, disequilibrium and resolution. This will set out our film story line so that it is clear for our audience when watching our trailer. As well as this we included our USP (unique selling point), this is what differentiates our film trailer from existing slasher horror films, which is the theme of Beauty. Burton's Theory informs our audience of our main characters, stock characters, stock situations, props- iconic weapons, setting and themes within the film. The subtext is also in this section which outlines what the film's real meaning is. The production team logo and film title and tagline is also present for visual purposes.
